Questions & Concerns

Once you’ve decided we’re the right band for your event, you will have a dedicated event coordinator at our agency Alive Network who will be on hand to liaise with you on any issues, questions or concerns. We’ll be in touch around 3 weeks before your event to run through the details and finalise any last minute arrangements.

What We'll Do At Your Corporate Event

Arrival, set up and soundcheck

Upon arrival at your event, we will liaise with the appropriate person and when we have learned our location for the evening, load in as quickly and efficiently as possible. Once set up, we will then sound check so we can set the sound for the venue for the evening. This entire process takes from 45 – 75 minutes. We are happy to arrive earlier to do all of this, but this is part of our early arrival package which is charged at an hourly rate.

After set up & soundcheck

When we’ve finished setting up and soundchecking, we will load all of our cases either back into our vehicles or into a designated storage space. We will then put some background music on through our PA system. This can either be a playlist we use, or a playlist of your choosing. We will then require a secure changing room in which we can change and eat, where your caterers provide us with a hot meal and soft drinks/tea/coffee. This is standard for weddings/corporate events. It’s also fairly common for events to run behind schedule, so if we can’t eat in this time window, we will eat in our break between sets.

1st live set & break

As soon as we finish our first live set, we will change over to background music. Usually this is when weddings serve a buffet/evening food. We are happy to play requests in this time.

2nd live set & end of the night

At the end of our second set, providing we have finished before the contractually agreed time (midnight unless an upgrade package has been purchased), we will play more background music. Once the contractually agreed time has come, we will turn our equipment off and pack down as quickly yet discretely as possible. This usually takes 1hr.
