When we first launched back in 2015, I never could have imagined where we would end up. From our humble beginnings on the pub circuit, we were soon spending our winters playing Wonderwall at Swiss ski resorts and Sweet Caroline in the south of France.
In the summers, we played the first dance for hundreds of happy couples and turned the boardroom into the dancefloor at dozens of corporate events.
We were making memories and living the dream. And then COVID-19 arrived. With no weddings, parties or corporate bookings, we were forced to shut GoldBeat down and pursue other careers.
I won’t lie, that sucked.
Which is why, at the end of 2022, we decided to restring our guitars, dust off the mic and relaunch. Because music is our passion and making every gig special and unique is what we do!
I am lucky enough to have worked alongside the very best musicians the UK has to offer during my career and four of them happen to be part of GoldBeat.
Whether you book the three-piece (III) or five-piece (V) band, I have no doubt you will enjoy listening and dancing to them as much as I love playing with them.
